Bit - Bradoon

The Bradoon Bit by Herm. Sprenger is an integral component of the double bridle setup, commonly used in advanced dressage disciplines. Designed to work in conjunction with a Weymouth (curb) bit, the bradoon facilitates refined communication between rider and horse.

The bradoon is a snaffle bit characterized by smaller rings and a thinner mouthpiece compared to standard snaffles, allowing it to sit comfortably above the Weymouth bit in the horse’s mouth.
